Hospitality and Intercultural Language Learning: reimagining the language classroom – 2 hours

 

In this workshop, participants will explore a Christian rationale for the study of languages and how this may be reflected in the interrelationship of language, culture and learning. Participants will be given examples and tools to begin applying the pedagogical implications of this rationale to their current language programs through the selection of relevant and engaging teaching strategies. Following the workshop, participants will be invited to join a collaborative network of Christian language teachers.
