Geography in the primary years: growing in wisdom for a better future (1 hour)
In this workshop participants will consider the big questions that arise from the rationale for the Geography K-6 syllabus through a Christian worldview. We will explore how the design of teaching units and our pedagogy can help students develop critical inquiry skills and foster a learning environment that cultivates responsible citizens, motivated by faith, hope and love. Participants will be given tools, resources and examples to begin adapting the ideas presented to their teaching context.
